 FeatureRECOGNITION intelligently recognizes features in 3D CAD files. You can import solid (SAT, XMT) files, surface (IGES) files, 3D DWG/DXF files, and native SolidWorks files. Then you simply select portions of the imported model and the FeatureWizard creates the 2.5D features (such as holes, pockets, slots) directly. FeatureRECOGNITION helps you create toolpaths up to 5 times faster.
